NATHANROSWELLOALICAN
Welcome. My name is Nathan. I live in Seattle, WA. This site is a collection of my photography and creative work.
Professionally, I seek to build abundant, cheap, decarbonized energy systems. I serve as the Chief of Staff to the CEO at Reunion Infrastructure, an energy and advanced manufacturing fintech. I recently concluded two years scaling carbon removal technologies at Carbon Direct. Previously I was a member of McKinsey and Company in the financial instruments and global energy and mining practices.
I studied energy and climate science at Harvard College. My research foci were energy system development & forest carbon cycling.
I built this website as a side project in early 2026.
Thank you to Dylan Wilson for designing my logo from a sketch that I passed you back in 2012. It combines my initials (NO) with the outline of shutter blades in a camera lens.
Thank you to Jenny of Big Picture Art House for giving me a camera. Thank you to John R. Stilgoe of the Harvard Visual and Environmental Studies department for teaching me to see. Thank you to Amy for the eyes I use.
